Study Protocol Design
We're very happy to play an active role at the protocol design stage.
We can advise on technical implications of protocol decisions and assist with preparation of funding applications.
We've worked on projects where the protocol is already finalised and simply needs implementing; on other projects we've played an active role in helping to design the expiermental methodology.
Increasingly, we're asked to advise on the use of technology in areas which are central to the trial design, for example:
- Generation of suitably formatted random website access codes for trial participants;
- Ensuring good follow-up rates through high quality email contact (avoiding participants' spam folders)
- Helping to define how researchers and other study staff will interact with the system
